Alloy Cast Steel Roll
The alloy cast steel rolls are hypo-eutectoid cast steel rolls alloyed with Chromium and Molybdenum. The rolls normally employ the monoblock casting process (single pour): Melting-Casting-Heat treatment-Machining- Flaw detection- Finished products. These cast rolls have good strength, generally used for the rough rolling backup roll of square slab rolling mills, large-scale steel billet rolling mills, rail beam rolling mills and two-roll strips roughing mills. It also can be worked as large vertical rolls for broken scale racks, rough rolling mills for section steel & bar and wire rod mills. The cast steel roll produced by TINVO has quality standards including ISO, GB, ASTM, DIN, JIS.
The support rolls of integral casting and composite casting are all alloy cast steel rolls in the strict sense. The carbon content is controlled according to the hardness requirements and different alloy elements are added to produce the alloy cast steel materials of the support rolls, these alloy cast steel materials contain high chromium, molybdenum, and vanadium As the alloy content increases, the matrix structure changes from sorbite to bainite or martensite, and it also contains secondary carbides with high hardness, with a hardness range of HS 55-70, which has excellent wear resistance and peeling resistance.
